Jamie Futral is a litigation attorney, practicing primarily in the areas of insurance defense, general liability, and insurance coverage. Prior to joining MMK, Jamie served as a judicial law clerk for the 40th Judicial District Court, St. John the Baptist Parish, State of Louisiana.
Originally from Pensacola, Florida and as a long term resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jamie is devoted to serving the Gulf South community as a passionate and effective advocate in the community’s key industries.
Jamie graduated from Tulane University Law School, where she served as Editor in Chief of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and won the Jackson-Ryan Pro Bono Advocate Award for completing 583 pro bono hours throughout her three years of law school. During law school, Jamie clerked for the Honorable Charles J. Kahn, Jr., United States District Court Northern District of Florida, and the Louisiana Supreme Court Central Staff Office. Prior to law school, Jamie graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication, and served as the News Editor for The Maroon.
Jamie is a member of the Junior League of New Orleans, who enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time on the beach in her hometown of Pensacola.
