LIGHT (Lawyers Initiative Giving Hospitals Thanks) is a group of New Orleans law firms which has raised more than $100,000 to feed frontline healthcare workers while supporting New Orleans’ treasured food and music industries. The program supplies funding for the Krewe of Red Beans and its Feed the Frontline NOLA project, which serves thousands of meals to healthcare workers in area hospitals. More than two dozen local restaurants rely on daily orders to remain open, while out-of-work musicians serve as delivery drivers. MMK is proud to participate in LIGHT and happy to assist not only our heroic healthcare workers as they care for COVID-19 patients, but also our restaurant and entertainment workers, who are so vital to our unique home town, and whose livelihoods have been so adversely affected by the pandemic.
